1. Scope and developer
These terms govern the use of Cep Sözlüğüm, a mobile application developed by Hakan Karateke. Contact: hakankarateke231@gmail.com. This version is dated October 12, 2026.
2. Permission to use
The application is provided for personal, lawful use. Access does not transfer intellectual property rights in the application. Open-source components remain subject to their respective licenses. Rights expressly permitted by law are reserved.
3. Purpose of the application
Cep Sözlüğüm supports English vocabulary learning and practice. Its content does not replace an official examination body, educational institution or certification service; no specific examination score or learning outcome is guaranteed. Verify examination dates and official information with the relevant institution.
4. Your responsibilities
Use the application lawfully, respecting other people’s rights and your device’s security. Do not disrupt the service, attempt unauthorized access or use misleading content or nicknames. You are responsible for the rights to content you add or share.
5. Devices, accounts and data
Core study features work without a Google account. Google sign-in, cloud backup and the leaderboard are optional and require an internet connection. You are responsible for protecting your Google account. Deleting local data does not automatically delete cloud records. The privacy policy explains how to request deletion.
6. Privacy and permissions
The Cep Sözlüğüm Privacy Policy explains data processing and device permissions. These terms do not replace any required permission or consent process. Declining a permission may limit the related feature.
7. Third-party services
Google Play and Google account services, Firebase and your device’s speech services are subject to their own terms. Their availability, device compatibility and operating system changes may affect application features.
8. Updates and availability
Features may be updated for compatibility, security or product needs. Uninterrupted or completely error-free operation is not promised. Significant changes will be communicated appropriately. Changes to personal data processing will also be explained in the privacy policy.
9. Rights and limitations
These terms do not remove mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Contact the developer about errors or infringements of your rights.
10. Ending use and contact
